Booking conditions, access rules, and use of STORY STUDIO accommodation units

Check-in

Check-in is autonomous and online.
Payment is made in full at the time of booking.
Guests must identify themselves by presenting a valid photo ID.
Access to the properties is provided through a code, assigned after the submission of identification documents.
Access for minors under 18 years of age is only allowed when accompanied by their legal representative.
Guests must inform the host in advance of their estimated time of arrival.

Noise

Under the General Noise Regulation, noise is not permitted between 23:00 and 07:00.
During other hours, guests should avoid making noise that could disturb the well-being and rest of the neighborhood.

Facilities

Guests must refrain from any actions that could damage the property or equipment within the units.
Guests must respect all signage displayed.
Guests must ensure cleanliness and general hygiene of the accommodation units. Litter must be placed only in the containers provided.
The telephone may only be used to receive calls and for emergency calls.
Guests must turn off lights, the radiant heating system, and the bio-fireplace whenever leaving the accommodation unit.

Security

Story Studio (Pausa do Costume, Lda) is not responsible for money, jewelry, or other valuables that may go missing inside the accommodation units.
For safety, whenever leaving the accommodation unit, guests must ensure that all doors (building entrance, apartment door, main house entrance door, and secondary door) are properly locked.
For guest security, a video intercom system is installed at the entrance of Story Studio Piódão.
Whenever justified, and after contacting the guest, management reserves the right to enter the accommodation unit.

Conduct

Offensive behavior, acts contrary to law, public order, or local cultural practices are strictly prohibited.
Overnight stays are not permitted for persons not registered under the booking.
Smoking is not allowed inside the accommodation units. Outdoor spaces may be used for smoking.
Pets are not allowed.
Parties or events are not permitted.
It is not allowed to dry or hang clothes, utensils, or objects, or install clotheslines, ropes, or similar items on windows, balconies, or porches of the accommodation units.
It is not allowed to alter the arrangement of existing furniture.
Subscription of TV channels is not permitted.
Storage of toxic, flammable, dangerous, or otherwise unsafe materials is strictly prohibited.

Cleaning and Hygiene

Cleaning of accommodation units is performed whenever there is a change of guests.
For stays longer than 7 nights, cleaning is carried out weekly.

Cancellation Policy

Story Studio Coimbra Centro

Guests may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
Guests must pay 100% of the total price if cancellation occurs less than 168 hours before arrival.
In case of late cancellation or no-show, the total booking amount will be charged.

Story Studio Piódão

Guests may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
Guests must pay 100% of the total price if cancellation occurs less than 168 hours before arrival.
In case of late cancellation or no-show, the total booking amount will be charged.

Non-Refundable Rates – only available at storystudio.pt

Early booking rate: Guests booking at least 30 days in advance receive a 20% discount.
Youth rate: Available for guests between 18 and 30 years old, with a 20% discount. All guests must provide proof of age with valid identification.
Non-refundable rate: Guests receive a 10% discount.

For all the above rates, the full price is charged in the event of cancellation, change, or no-show.
